Technava Group was founded in 1968 aiming to supply marine equipment and technical support to the Greek Shipping Industry. Today, it is one of the leading companies in the supply, installation and service of equipment on board all types of ships. Technava Group’s scope also includes services and equipment for the industrial sector and in particular for power plants, city municipalities and the oilfield industry.

Technava Group sails on a crew of 90 highly skilled individuals, including marine, chemical, mechanical and electrical engineers, electronics experts and technicians, with many years of experience in the supply, inspection and repair of our equipment. Our team dynamically promotes, supports and services the wide range of products offered, setting customer satisfaction and care our ultimate goal.

new buildings & conversions
We invest consistently in acquiring good knowledge of the products represented, both technically and commercially, thus offering considerable added value in selection of the equipment for hundreds of Greek newbuildings & conversions at yards around the world or in Greece .

Turn-key contractors
Technava Group also performs refurbishments and conversions on package deal basis and has handled efficiently numerous turn-key contracts, in marine and industrial applications. We supply the machinery & equipment as well as the installation works & materials including steel works, piping & cabling, start-up and commissioning.

Industrial applications
Technava Group’s industrial department successfully handles turn-key projects involving liquid waste management such as landfill leachate, mineral oil slops & sludge, as well as power rental, sea-water desalination and refurbishment of natural gas and oil fired burners & steam boilers. Our satisfied customers include power utility companies, municipalities, heavy industries & oil refineries.

Technical after sales support
Technava Group has in-house the technical knowledge required to support our equipment and our staff undergo formal & continuous training by the manufacturers. Our technical team has mechanical, electrical and automation expertise to assist with troubleshooting on 24-hour availability. In addition we provide multimedia technical seminars in Greek language with hands-on practice, at our Training Center.

Spare part suppliers
Our dedicated spare parts department effects annually thousands of deliveries all over the world. Technava Group experienced staff, with a solid knowledge of the equipment & market, serve with dedication and commitment – either when supplying an O-ring or a crankshaft. We understand urgency and ensure customer satisfaction.

Ship repair & drydock
Technava Group cooperates with a good number of selected shipyards in the Far East, and especially in China spanning from North to South of the country, providing price competitive advantage combined with good quality & reliable services for all type of vessels undergoing repairs.

Workshop service facilities
Technava Group maintains two modern stations, a newly built 2.800 sq.m. multi–workshop & inspection station in the Shisto Industrial Park, and a fully outfitted 600 sq.m. service station at Aspropyrgos. Apart from state-of the-art service facilities, we maintain a product Show-Room, emergency spare parts stock, and training center.

Field & workshop service
Our 12 service engineers and technicians form a very strong field service team performing with responsibility a wide range of field service activities, including inspection and repair of our machinery either on-site or at the workshop, as well as start up and commissioning.
Technava Group’s service fields include marine evacuation systems, life-rafts, mineraloil centrifugal separators, vacuum systems, reverse osmosis plants, sewage treatment plants, vacuum systems, watertight doors and hydraulic equipment, epoxy resin chocking, cathodic protection, echosounders and electronic equipment.
Our service staff is available 7 days a week, around the clock.
Training center
Technava Group has integrated its after sales support by offering Greek customers the added value of full training services. We have established a modernized Training Center located in a dedicated area of 600 sq.m. at Technava Schisto Service Station.
Providing multimedia technical seminars in Greek language with hands-on practice we ensure that our customers will become “experts” on Technava Group principal portofolio products.
Participants, except the theoretical sessions, can also perform real operation and simulate all possible alarms and conditions, exactly identical as being on-board a vessel. Training seminars are performed for boilers, separators, evacuation systems, lifeboats, echosounders, sewage treatments, cryogenic plants and others products, aiming to build up Greek operators’ knowledge in order to achieve trouble free operation.
