Yoowon Industries Co. LTD ,is a manufacturing company where processing has been based on accumulated technology and experience in design ,started back at 1977 ,when Yoowon Industries LTD as an hydraulic equipment and steering gear manufacturer has been established .

Since April 1990 a joint venture with KANAKAWA KIKI Kogyo Co. LTD japan started for the production at Yoowon factories of Notch wire elements

On Aug 1993  , Yoowon Industries Co. LTD concluded a Technical License Agreement with MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES Ltd Japan ,for the production of the large steering gears  (23-560T-M).License Agreement is still valid ,reaching the 26 years of successful cooperation

July 1998 Yoowon Industries ,expanded their factory facilities ,in order to reach the increased demand .A second  factory has been build

Jun 2001 Yoowon Industries has been developed & manufacture  the largest steering gear (1000T-M) .Later same month extended the cooperation with MITSUBISHI HEAVY IND Ltd ,for the production of Fin Stabilizer

Jan 2010 completed the  3rd Korean Factory facilities of Yoowon Industries Ltd

Since the establishment ,Yoowon Industries has been producing and supplying high quality steering gears & deck machinery

All equipment is  produced with the highest standards for all ship classifications such as A.B.S, D.N.V, L.R, GL, B.V. and K.R., while complying as well with ASME U,  PP ,ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

Now days more than 4000vessels are equipped with Yoowon Industries Ltd  equipment

1. Steering Gear

Yoowon Industries Co Ltd designs and produces different types of steering gears such as ram type, pistons type, rotary vane type, as well as steering gears for VLCC  – which boasts a 1,021 ton-m maximum weight, and a 45 degree rotation capacity. Advanced technology has been implemented to all  designs for all applications from heavy ships through to small vessels, as well as  for special military vessels
