The company Pesch Marinescheinwerfer was founded in 1970 by Mr. Hans-Peter Pesch.
Starting with the development and production of electronic measurement devices, the focus was quickly laid on the production of searchlights for marine use. In addition, the development of a searchlight characterized by robust technology and simple mounting was commenced. The SEEMATZ searchlights as well as the SEEMATZ wipers were continuously developed in order to always be able to offer an ideal product.
For over 40 years now, SEEMATZ stands for highly efficient solutions regarding searchlights and wipers in professional application. The SEEMATZ-products are exclusively produced in Northern Germany by over 40 specialists.
SEEMATZ LED
SEEMATZ LED-searchlights combine newest technology on the one hand side with proven reliability and robustness on the other hand side.
Through the use of high power LEDs in conjunction with special lenses, the searchlights offer both long range and also a wide viewing angle. These features combined with the brilliant light of the LEDs make this searchlight the ideal solution for use on short to medium distances. Of course the searchlights can be combined with all SEEMATZ controls; electrical operated or manual.
The LED version of the well-known Seematz searchlights can be used on all sorts of vessels, such as rescue boats, tugs, green tugs, pilot boats and coasters. Thanks to the wide viewing angle of 6°, a relatively large area can be illuminated, for example in a man overboard situation. The smallest LED searchlight has a range of over 500 meters, according to DIN standards (IES: 800m), while consuming only 58W. A 285W version even has a range of more than 1,100m (DIN).
WIPERS
Wiper casing made of seawater resistant aluminium (AlMg3) – powder-coated in white – all other RAL colours possible by request
Two 24Volt DC motors with high torque (1∗48VDC on Tropic). Both motors ensure safe function in all weather conditions over a chain of stainless steel on the transport mechanism with 4 plastic rolls with ball bearing.
Wiper blades made of seawater resistant aluminium (AlMg3) with separately changeable wiper rubber.
Simple mounting due to studs made of stainless steel. Due to the motors mounted in the wiper casing, no breakthroughs in the bridge wall for motor axles and no elaborate assembly within the bridge ceiling.
SEEMATZ Wipers are characterized by their robust and maintenance-friendly technology, which guarantees function over many years with minimal service effort.
