Since 1974, Velan has pioneered the design of high performance cryogenic valves for LNG carriers and LNG terminals, but also for other liquefied gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and helium, at temperatures as low as -253.9º C. With their patented technology, Velan fabricates state-of-the-art cryogenic valves of various types (gate, globe, control, swing check, ball, triple-offset) for sizes up to DN 1200  and pressure rating up to #1500. Manufactured in France in their 14,900sq.m. facility, Velan cryogenic valves have been extensively used throughout the world during the past 30 years and have been qualified by major Classification Societies.
